Hello Everyone,

I know it's been a while since my last update. Not ignoring you, its just been very mellow around here. I'd much rather have nothing to say than be reporting serious medical issues. Compared to last year at this time which seemed like one tragedy after another, this is bliss.

I don't have a whole lot to say but we have some minor items to pass along and a couple moves to report.

-            The first move to report is that we have 2 new dogs in Dog Town. Buddy & Brownie moved up from the healing barn this week. Both are no photos and staff only, even though the staff only might be lifted by now. Talk with the caregiver about their condition and restrictions.

-            Buddy & Brownie's Healing Barn companion, Blaze is soon to follow. We're hoping early next week, he still has a couple medical hurtles to conquer before graduating. Remember all 3 dogs are no photo.

-            As most of the dog walkers already know, Maple was moved down to the healing barn after a needed surgery. She has been recovering well and is being medically fostered, and I believe going to her new home today.

-            Ok this is important so I'm going to highlight it in red, so you visually see its importantness: No Photo's for Buddie, Brownie, Blaze, Sprout & Maple! Even though Maple is being fostered and no longer at Pasado's she is still under the no photo restriction. If there is ever a question if you can take & post photo's please ask the caregiver or Jen, don't guess or assume please.

-            2 cats moved up from the Healing Barn this week, Georgina & Cannoli. There were 2 kittens down at the healing barn that were coming up with them. However, as it happens sometimes with kittens, they have already been reserved for adoption. Meaning once they are medically cleared, they will go to their new home instead of Kitty City, sorry.

-            Last little bit of news, Outside the volunteer office hanging on the wall is our redesigned whiteboard. On it we have a space for Important reminders, such as "All bird areas are staff only". It will be fluid and represent the current restrictions and anything that you need to know for you shift that day. Also on the board will be the extra tasks to do if you finish early or want something else to do. We have a couple spaces for you to fill in: Shout outs & Equipment & supplies needed. Shout outs are for anyone you feel deserves a little extra recognition. Supplies & Equipment is there in case the tooling needed is missing or broken or if you feel there is something that could make the job easier, write it in there. Also attached will be the caregiver schedule. Make sure to check it out before your shift.

Ok that's it for this rambelfest. It's my Friday and I can't wait for coffee and a fire tomorrow morning. It's the simple things right?

I hope you all have an amazing weekend and week ahead. I haven't mentioned the weather yet because the forecast has been so wildly inaccurate, I'm just taking it day by day. I think were out of the freeze but really who knows. Whatever the weather have an amazing week.

Stay awesome!
