Hello My Friends,

Dusty and hot was the theme for this past week around here. I am very happy for this cool down. Hopefully we'll get a bit of much needed rain tomorrow, then a nice stretch of mild summer weather.

Not a lot to report this week. With one exception, everyone is healthy and enjoying the summer weather. No big moves or anything of note. I do however have one important issue to inform every one of which is a sad one.

Before we get into that real quick, I have an ask. With the construction at the main gate our delivery trucks haven't been able to make it in and are dropping packages off at the gate in the brown chest. When passing through if you see packages can you tell Jen or myself so we can pick them up. A delivery already got stolen from the box so we're trying to be vigilant and not have it sit longer than necessary. Thank you for help with this.

Ok here we go, I'm sorry everyone but today we had to say goodbye to Santana sheep. His health had been deteriorating over the past few weeks. We tried everything we could to help but his body shut down and wouldn't respond to our treatments. The tough decision was made and this morning, surrounded by his friends, we helped him pass peacefully over the rainbow bridge. He was a very sweet affectionate boy who always had time for scratches. Not because he was looking for crackers but it seemed he legitimately wanted loves. I enjoyed his presence very much. Rest easy my friend, you will be missed.

Ok that's it for this week. Remember the volunteer picnic this Saturday rain or shine, hopefully shine. It looks to be a great turnout this year and I am looking forward to seeing you all. Hope you have a great weekend and week ahead. Thank you for all you do and the support you provide for the animals and the staff. It's not a small thing and is very much appreciated by all of us.

Stay Amazing!
