Hello my Friends,

Do I have a treat for you all on this one. Not even going to mess around with any stories of the weather or summer or the terrible dust or the possibility of some well needed rain this weekend, or any of that we have a lot of big pig news to get into. Also, because of this we are very busy getting yards ready for the transition and I don't have time to ramble on too much.

First are the moves the past few days and the ones still to come. Portabella pig and the mushroom babies have moved to the side yard in the NARN. They are still under quarantine so you can't go in with them just yet. You can go visit through the fence though. Hopefully soon they will be cleared for visitors.

The boys are being moved into Pig yard 3 as I type this. The 2 that were next to momma and the one in the ISO stall.

The reason we are scrambling all of a sudden here is that we have received news that there are 6 new additions to our pig family. Monday, we transported 7 females pigs from Reiner over to WSU for their spay surgeries. Thistle, one of the females gave birth overnight, which was a very welcome surprise for them, and us. They decided to ultrasound the others and found that one more is pregnant. How far along we don't know but there are more babies on the way. All those that went over to WSU will be back home on Monday, with Thistle and the babies going to the healing barn where the mushroom babies were. I believe that Juniper, the other pregnant pig will be going to the adjacent stall where the boys were. Not positive on that so don't freak out if she goes somewhere else.

There are still 2 female pigs at Reiner that couldn't make the journey to Pullman because they are a touch too hefty for the procedure. As far as I know they haven't been ultra sounded yet but that's on the horizon so stay tuned.

So that's our news for the week. I know it was short and I'm sure you might have a few questions. Its been really busy and I apologize for the rush feel to this update but I wanted to get you all something.

Hahaha ok I just found something out and i have to add it in here real quick. I have a returning resident that I am finding too much amusement in. As I predicted Carlos is on his way back. Turns out he's into older ladies also. More details on this that are not fitting for here lol.

On that note I will say goodnight. I'm on my way out the door, I spent the day with an amazing compassion group from Tommy Bahama getting Pig 3 ready. It is hot and dusty but they did amazing and I'm sure the new residents will love it. Oh wait one more thing.

Remember: ALL NEW PIGS ARE STILL UNDER QUARENTINE!!!!

That means no entry into the air lock of the side yard or Pig 3 until Jen or I announce it.

Thank  you and have a great weekend and week ahead. We couldn't do what we do without each and every one of you so seriously Thank you, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay Amazing,
